Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and daunting - you know you want to feel better, but you're not quite sure where to begin. Maybe youβve been wondering if your struggles are βserious enoughβ to talk about, or worrying that opening up might feel too uncomfortable. Or maybe the idea of being vulnerable is terrifying. If something is weighing on you, it matters.
As a Melbourne-based psychologist with a European background, I understandd how hard it can be to take that first step, especially if youβve grown up in an environment where mental health wasnβt something people talked about. Together, we will build resilience in facing mental health challenges and develop practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.
Therapy doesnβt have to feel cold or clinical. I believe in honest, human conversations. I will explain what we're doing and why, and I will check in regularly to make sure we're on the right track. Youβll find space here for real connection where humour, honesty, and warmth are not only welcome but encouraged. We can have a structured, goal-directed approach to sessions, or we can take it slow and be flexible with the approach.
